Passwords. They're important.
Please make sure that every user on your Windows PC has an
assigned user name and password.
Simply go to Windows Control Panel
and choose Users. Select the user and add a password to the
account. We recommend you add a second user to
the system as well. This helps in case information about
the initial user becomes corrupted.

Firewalls. Everyone
needs a firewall. One of the best is free though becoming a little more bloated - Zonealarm from Zonelabs. Norton has decreased the footprint of their all in one product and they actually have telephone chat support. The lack of such support has called us to pull back on our support for AVG. Check out PC Magazine, PC World, InformationWeek and CNET for ratings of Firewall and Antivirus products - also the Wall Street Journal periodically runs reviews of personal software.
